The Sugarhouse is the Student Union ran club who works to put on the best nighttime events in Lancaster. We are looking for an outgoing student to join our new Student Marketing team! It will be a part time position with flexible hours including nights.
Title - Student Marketing Assistant
Location - At the Sugarhouse/ On campus
Hours - Approx. 5-7 hours with potential of more (will include Wednesday and Friday nights)

Job Description
As a part of the Marketing team for Sugarhouse you'll help promote the club and the events we run! Making sure everyone is aware of what we're doing and showing off all the best bits of the club including the staff through the Tiktok page!
The main responsibilities of the successful applicant will be:
* Run the social media during the events including posting on the stories and help answering any questions that come in.
* Help build the social media presence of the club including Instagram and Tiktok.
* Help run Promotion events on campus including a stall on Open days and Offer holder days.
* Work with the Union's comms team to come up with content to create and post on the social media.
Person Specification
* A current student at Lancaster University.
* A good knowledge of current trends on social media.
* Understanding and utilisation of social media including Tiktok and Instagram.
* Reliable and self sufficient with work.
* Outgoing and confident person able to communicate with others.
* Past experience working on social media.
* Understanding of hospitality social media.
