Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Dispensary & Wards Banding: Band 4 Location: Lister Hospital Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hourly Rate: £16-18 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday (rotating shifts: 8:30am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:00pm, 11:00am–7:00pm, with occasional Saturdays approximately once per month) Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Lister Hospital in Chelsea. This role offers a great opportunity to support both dispensary and ward-based services within a busy hospital environment. The successful candidate will be required to work across a variety of shift patterns and may support ward-based duties if they have the relevant experience. Hospital experience is preferred, though candidates from community or outpatient backgrounds will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Support dispensary operations including dispensing and labelling of medicines. Assist with ward-based pharmacy services where applicable. Work collaboratively with pharmacists and wider healthcare teams. Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to SOPs. Contribute to safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmacy services. Qualifications and Experience Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Previous pharmacy experience essential (hospital preferred).
