Teacher of French (QTS Required) – Full-Time

Location: BlackburnContract: Full-Time, TemporaryDuration: September 2026 – December 2026

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of French to join a welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Blackburn. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing through to December 2026.

The Role

As a Teacher of French, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare, and assess pupils’ work in line with curriculum requirements
• Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching French in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students
• Availability for the full duration of the role (September – December 2026)
