Operations Manager – Mobile Pool Services
Location: Leicester (Hybrid, UK-wide travel)
Salary: £30,000 + £5,000 bonus (renewals KPI)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
The role:
Own end-to-end delivery of mobile pool services for schools across the UK. You’ll run operations from contract handover to site sign-off, keeping projects safe, compliant and on time.
What you’ll do:
* Manage service delivery from start to finish and sign-off
* Build, roster and lead field teams: marquee crews, swim teachers, lifeguards
* Plan routes, schedules and site logistics across multiple locations
* Own H&S compliance: RAMS, risk assessments, site audits, toolbox talks
* Coordinate suppliers, equipment, vehicles and site readiness
* Resolve on-site issues quickly and keep clients informed
* Track KPIs and produce operational performance reports
* Improve processes to boost efficiency and quality
What you’ll bring:
* Operations/logistics/service delivery experience, ideally multi-site
* Strong people leadership and experience recruiting field teams
* Excellent scheduling, organisation and problem-solving skills
* Confident stakeholder and client communication
* Solid knowledge of H&S, RAMS and quality standards
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility for UK travel and early starts
Nice to have:
* Background in leisure, events, facilities management, education or seasonal field ops
* Understanding of safeguarding, pool operations or lifeguard staffing
