Some key information Your work base will be County Hall. There will be opportunities to work flexibly, in line with the demands of the role, but you will be required to work from the office on a regular basis. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 28 days after 5 years service). What will I be doing? We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve: Delivering a high quality, customer focused HR Service to internal customers. Supporting the team with administration and processes associated with ER casework and Organisational Change including restructures. Providing some initial advice and guidance on standard procedures and policies. Producing standard letters on routine ER matters Scheduling and coordinating meetings, hearings, consultations, interviews, and other HR-related events Undertaking general employee relations case administration and tracking, including collation and production of documents to support investigations, hearings and Employment Tribunal cases Managing and liaising with stakeholders to produce figures for all flexible retirement, early retirement, ill health retirement and redundancy, Effectively managing information and data to ensure accessibility, security, confidentiality and privacy Inputting onto systems that are used to manage casework, produce and analyse reports. Taking accurate notes which may be of a highly sensitive nature, maintaining confidentiality at all times. What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
