A Snapshot of Your Day

You collaborate closely with Site Management, clients, and suppliers, offering clear technical guidance on turbine/generator disassembly and reassembly. You stay organized under pressure, manage emergent work, and keep documentation accurate and up to date while driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You also coach others, share knowledge, and represent Siemens Energy with confidence and care.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead planned preventative maintenance at customer sites (UK and overseas), guiding small teams of service engineers, NAECI artisans, client staff, and subcontractors—or executing mechanical work yourself on turbines and generators.
2. Support Site Management and Site Leads; manage NAECI and subcontracted personnel; represent Siemens Energy in meetings and discussions with clients at all levels.
3. Provide clear technical advice for disassembly and reassembly of turbine/generator equipment; prioritize work to meet plans/specs; manage emergent work; identify, resolve, and escalate issues.
4. Prepare, record, and issue technical information in the right systems; ensure adherence to HSE, best practices, and policies; identify risks and implement mitigations; drive quality and continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers; assist with planning, technical work packages, contract preparation, and supplier interfaces; train and develop other staff.
What You Bring
6. ONC/OND in an Engineering discipline and/or a recognized apprenticeship.
7. Ideally 5 years of technical field experience, including supervising teams.
8. Strong familiarity with large gas turbines and combined-cycle power plant technology.
9. High attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks; excellent written and oral communication; collaborative and confident at all levels; good organizational/time management and computer literacy.
10. Flexible and self-reliant, yet cooperative and supportive. Willing to travel within the UK and overseas to customer sites.
