Assistant Management Accountant (on-site) | Permanent Full-time (40 hours)

You're expected to:
1. Maintain and update financial records, including cashbooks, ledgers, balance sheet accounts.
2. Process private income invoices, payments, and expense claims
3. Profit and loss analysis
4. Preparation and input of monthly journals
5. Raising invoices for recharges and reimbursements
6. Support month-end and year-end closing processes
7. Assisting with audit file preparations
8. Other ad-hoc tasks as requested by other senior members of the Finance team
9. Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision making
What we're looking for:
Essential
10. Graduate, Part qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or working towards qualification
11. Previous experience in a similar role
12. Strong Excel skills (data export, pivot tables, filters)
13. Excellent communication and teamworking skills
14. Flexible approach to meet business and team needs
15. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
Location
Our head office is based at Bank Top Support Centre, just outside Leeds (LS21 1PY). Surrounded by open fields and scenic walking routes, we’re minutes from Golden Acre Park — a great spot to take a breather.
Please note there is no public transport nearby, so own transport is required. We offer a dog-friendly workspace and a relaxed, welcoming environment where people (and the occasional four-legged friend) are all part of the team.
