Process Operator - Circa £31,500 P.A after training - Based in Tonbridge, Kent
The Role
Drytec Spray Drying Ltd is one of the UK's leading dry powder manufacturers. We are looking for new Process Operators to join our skilled and supportive production team.
You'll receive full training to safely operate, set up, and clean our commercial spray dryers. You will be manufacturing dry powder products for a wide range of customers. Once your initial training is complete at our Tonbridge factory, you will join one of our shift teams, continuing your development under the guidance of a Shift Supervisor.
This is a hands-on role that includes basic lab testing, equipment maintenance, and learning industry-specific processes. Some heavy lifting is involved, so you must be physically able to carry 25kg product bags.
Shift patterns:
We will be running a continually rotating 2 month day & night shift pattern. After your induction period you will be assigned to your permanent team, who will be working on either a day or night shift. Each team changes from days to nights and vice versa every 2 months. Day shifts: 08:00 to 20:00 Working 4 on and 4 off Night shift: 20:00 to 08:00 Working 4 on and 4 off
Process Operator - Key Responsibilities Operating and maintaining commercial spray drying equipment.
Performing basic laboratory tests.
Following safety and hygiene procedures.
Completing shift records and quality checks.
Cleaning and preparing machinery for production.

Is interested in mechanical or electrical processes.
Is reliable, keen to learn, and enjoys practical work.
Can lift and carry up to 25kg safely.
Works well in a team and follows instructions carefully.
