Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Blyth
Salary Range: £95 -£120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who present with challenging behaviour, providing tailored support and strategies to help them re-engage with learning. You will act as a role model, promoting positive relationships, self-confidence, and resilience, and creating an environment where every student feels seen and valued.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural needs.
* Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans to promote positive choices.
* Support classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviour and maintaining a productive learning environment.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and personal growth.
* Monitor and track student progress, reporting back to relevant staff and families.
* Promote a positive school culture focused on respect, inclusivity, and personal development.
* Support students in developing social and emotional skills to help manage their behaviour effectively.
Job Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people in a behavioural support, mentoring, or pastoral capacity.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate students.
* Patience, resilience, and a calm approach to handling challenging situations.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* A genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of young people.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
