Job Description
We are currently looking for an Associate Building Surveyor to fill a permanent opening with a company located in London. Interested candidates must have a range of surveying experience from project to professional and at least 5 years PQE.
Responsibilities of the Associate Director of Building Surveying:
\t
* Advising clients about building/property issues, which can include technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation and restoration matters.
\t
* Undertaking building surveys.
\t
* Monitoring the deterioration or defects of a property and offering advice on repair work.
\t
* Deliver projects from inception to completion to meet the projects objectives.
\t
* Negotiating the repair of work or a financial settlement if required.
\t
* Managing projects and/or multidisciplinary teams
\t
* To diligently handle all instructions and to maintain comprehensive records for all work undertaken
\t
* Contract Administration
\t
* Dilapidation Liability Assessment Reports on behalf of Landlord and Tenant
\t
* Schedules of Condition
\t
* Party Wall Duties
Requirements of the Associate Director of Building Surveying:
\t
* Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
\t
* At least 5 years post qualification experience with provable technical delivery experience
\t
* Able to work as part of a multi disciplinary team to deliver a project.
\t
* Significant exposure to, and good working relations with both public and private sector clients
\t
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
On offer for the Associate Director of Building Surveying:
The salary for this position ranges from £70,000 to £80,000 inclusive of car allowance, depending on experience.
