Salary: Competitive, around £60,000 based on your experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety across our combat systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing Safety Requirements: Oversee the flow of safety requirements from the entire boat to combat systems, ensuring accurate recording in DOORS.
*
Requirements Decomposition: Handle DSRs, 4SFRs, and 5SFRs after the Safety Team completes their analysis.
*
Reporting: Deliver insightful reports to the Senior Engineering Manager regarding the safety requirements process.
*
Liaising: Collaborate with Subsystems, the Safety Team, and Suppliers to address safety requirements effectively.
*
Gap Analysis Support: Provide specialist assistance in conducting gap analyses between formal and assumptive safety requirements.
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who bring the following:
* Experience with DOORS.
* Proven track record in requirements management.
* Strong understanding of the V life cycle model and INCOSE systems engineering.
* A degree or extensive experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
