The role of Warehouse Operative:
* Picking and packing frozen food for the UK's leading supermarket.
* This role is physically demanding, involves manual handling, twisting and turning.
* Full PPE is provided for this role as the Warehouse operates at -25°C.
* The working day is based on 12 hours shifts, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.
* Working to meet customer performance standards.
* Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
* Performing other general warehouse duties as required.
* Having a key role in supporting our store colleagues by making sure orders are assembled correctly.
* Picking, stacking and manually handling stock items.
* Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse and ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with safely, quickly and efficiently.
* Making sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards.
* Taking responsibility for your own and others' safety whilst at work.
* Working both independently and as part of a team.
