As part of their continued investment for growth in the UK market, they are now looking to appoint a Technical Services Manager to lead the Technical Team, with potential for growth within the company.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead the company’s UK market responsibilities regarding product safety, quality, legality, and authenticity.
* Engage with customers’ technical functions and suppliers to ensure the highest service standards.
* Manage specifications, audit questionnaires, gap analysis, customer site visits, BRC and HACCP maintenance, food labelling, ERP system management, horizon scanning, shelf-life extensions, traceability, customer complaints, and promote Food Safety Culture.
* Manage and develop two direct reports, organizing their training and growth opportunities.
* Explore projects and process improvements, supported by the business.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree or HND in a food-related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical role within a BRC accredited food manufacturing environment in the UK or Ireland.
* Knowledge of supply requirements for major grocery retailers and food manufacturers.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to influence and make decisions confidently.
* Full, clean driving license.
Additional Details
This is an office-based role at the Norwich head office, with some homeworking flexibility, involving UK and international travel.
