We’re recruiting a POD Clerk on a temporary basis (2–4 weeks) to support a busy transport team in Corby. If you're organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating across teams, this short-term opportunity could be a great fit.
About the Role
As a POD Clerk, you’ll be responsible for managing proof of delivery documentation, liaising with depots and subcontractors, and supporting customer service and finance teams. Your work will help ensure deliveries are accurately recorded and any queries are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve PODs from internal depots and external subcontractors
Respond to delivery queries promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate records to support finance with PO creation
Assist with customer and supplier complaints from investigation to resolution
Provide general administrative support to the transport team
Collaborate with management to ensure smooth daily operations
✅ What We’re Looking For
Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous experience in administration or logistics support
Excellent attention to detail and numeric accuracy
Clear and courteous communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
