Our client are seeking to appoint an experienced CAD Technician/ Reinforced Detailer to join their established team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of innovative, cost-effective, programme-efficient, and quality-assured Reinforcement Solutions for our discerning clients.
You will play a key role in supporting major construction projects, bringing expertise, precision, and forward-thinking solutions to a vital- yet often overlooked- area of construction.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Reinforced Concrete Construction, with a strong understanding of the principles of steel reinforcement within concrete structures. You will bring not only technical expertise but also a genuine passion for innovation and efficiency, alongside experience in 2D and 3D CAD.
We are looking for someone who can see beyond the obvious, identify smart solutions, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail- while enhancing and integrating with the existing teams skillset.
Working Pattern & Benefits
Monday to Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm
20 days annual leave + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software.
Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and calculations into working drawings.
Ensure all drawings across the team comply with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures.
Review and approve drawings before issue to clients, construction, or manufacturing.
Lead and mentor junior draughtspersons and provide technical guidance.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Manage drawing revisions, updates, and document control processes.
Conduct quality checks on drawings before submission or construction/manufacturing.
Help oversee the day-to-day operations of the drafting team to ensure work is delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Assist in developing and improving drafting standards and workflows.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and smooth day-to-day operations.
Liaise with external stakeholders (clients, contractors, suppliers) where required.
Continuously improve drafting processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
