Aquilo recruitment are working in partnership with a market leading printing business to recruit for a commercial executive/ estimator to join their growing established team with the business, with development and growth opportunities.
Key Performance Tasks
Continuously review workload throughout the day to ensure efficiency of quotes produced taking into account customer priority lists.
Review work in progress raising any anomalies or queries commercial team and account management teams to ensure best price is generated.
To work in accordance with company operating and quality procedures at all times to ensure compliance with working practices & standards.
To carry out projects as instructed by meeting project objectives and deadlines.
Perform other duties as reasonably correspond to the general requirements of the post and are appropriate with its level of responsibility in order to contribute to the success of the of Company.
To continually train and train others in all aspects of the estimating process to assist the development of individuals and the team.
To be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and Company Policy; for maintaining safe working conditions including equipment; for drawing attention to hazards and to take reasonable care of ourselves and others. To ensure that all-necessary safety devices and protective equipment are used, and to co-operate in the operation of the Health & Safety Policy at all times.

Skills:
Previous working experience within estimating team; desirable within Print industry
In depth knowledge of all estimating processes
Sound working knowledge of computing systems (Tharstens is desirable)
A working knowledge of company cost centres/codes
Flexible and adaptable approach to rapidly changing work priorities with ability to remain calm under pressure
A helpful and co-operative attitude
Ability to work within team setting
Desirabl
Print industry experience is desirable
Good knowledge of print market and competitors
