Engineering Assistant WB Power Services are currently recruiting for an Engineering Assistant to join our team during an exciting period of growth. The Role
As an Engineering Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting our Diesel Field Service Engineers and wider operations team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting Diesel Field Service Engineers on-site
2. Supporting service, fault finding, and breakdown jobs as needed
3. Liaising with Service Coordinators at head office to assist with job planning
4. Collecting and delivering parts between depot and site
5. Loading and unloading company vehicles when required
6. Assisting with cable pulling and testing as directed
7. Following company Health & Safety, environmental, and quality procedures
8. Accurately recording job information using our bespoke management system
The Person
We’re looking for someone reliable, enthusiastic, and hands-on. Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in a labouring role within an engineering or mechanical environment
* A full UK driving licence
* Confidence communicating with clients both on the phone and in person
* An interest in developing engineering knowledge and skills
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* A flexible approach to dealing with customers from a variety of sectors
