They are looking to recruit a CNC Turner on a permanent basis to join a small, close-knit team of 78 staff.
This is a hands-on role focused on setting and operating CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls Set tooling, offsets, and prove out programs Produce components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances Operate CNC lathes with C and Y axis capability (desirable) Carry out basic program edits at the machine Monitor machining processes and maintain quality standards Inspect components using appropriate measuring equipment Work closely with the production team to meet schedules Adhere to health, safety, and quality procedures Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Setter / Operator) Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes Ability to set machines from scratch Experience with C and Y axis xjlbheb lathes is desirable Good understanding of machining principles and tooling Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Reliable team player with good communication skills Benefits: Competitive salary dependent on experience 4-day working week for excellent work-life balance Friendly, supportive working environment Ongoing skills development opportunities
