This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and experience in commercial transportation to contribute to a dynamic organisation.*Responsibilities** Operate lorry with crane and other commercial vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.* Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations.* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in optimal condition before and after journeys.* Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safety standards.* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.* Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and maintain a clean driving licence record.* Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.*Skills** Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience in a similar environment.* Competence in driving lorry with crane (however training will be provided with crane)* Strong knowledge of road safety laws, regulations, and best practices for commercial driving.* Excellent organisational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively.* Good communication skills for liaising with dispatchers, clients, and team members.* Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.* A valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles.* Crane Experience Preferred but not essentialJob Type: Full-timePay: £14.50-£16.00 per hourBenefits:* Company pension* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
