You’ll help shape our new direction, creating bold, seasonal dishes and leading the kitchen alongside the Head Chef to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Junior Sous Chef Duties:
* Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu development, focusing on locally sourced, sustainable ingredients such as rare-breed meats and fresh, seasonal produce.
* Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices.
* Oversee kitchen operations during busy service, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
* Monitor stock levels, ordering, and wastage to maintain efficiency and profitability.
* Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and an unforgettable dining experience.
* Adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a high-end kitchen.
