As a Security Officer you will be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while ensuring the safety of the business.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.</li><li>Deliver customer service by greeting customers and providing professional support to both customers and colleagues.</li><li>Help keep the store safe and secure by preventing loss, responding to incidents, identifying risks and supporting safe working practices.</li><li>Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras, to support operations and incident management.</li><li>Stay calm under pressure, responding to challenging situations and supporting emergency procedures in a professional and confident manner.</li><li>Work closely with store colleagues as a team player to maintain high standards and create a positive environment for all.</li><li>Adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store as needed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Previous security experience preferred.</li><li>A valid SIA licence is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>A calm, confident and professional approach.</li><li>A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.</li><li>A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.</li></ul><p>All candidates must be able to provide a 5‑year checkable work history within the UK.</p><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>£13.58 per hour</li><li>Guaranteed 40+ hours per week</li><li>20% colleague discount (after a qualifying period)</li><li>Company‑funded SIA licence renewal</li><li>Share Incentive Plan
