FM Assistant – Band 2
Position at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, Thurrock Hospital CDC Centre. 15 hours per week (rotas discussed). Closing date 30 April 2026. Pay £12.92 per hour (£25,272 per annum pro rata).
Responsibilities
* Clean all areas required in the work schedules, including toilets, corridors, offices, clinic rooms, store rooms, dusting, mopping, wiping, bin changes.
* Participate in the provision of in‑house FM services to specified areas within the Trust, including in‑patient wards, admin/clinical areas and retail outlets.
* Provide cleaning, catering, portering, bed making, and laundering services (unit specific as applicable).
* Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors in line with National Standards of Cleanliness.
* Use a flexible approach, excellent interpersonal and customer skills, initiative to prioritise and organise duties.
* Adhere to the attached job description specification and work schedules/instructions.
Person Specification
* Reside within a reasonable traveling distance and hold a valid driver’s licence.
* Hold a UK working visa/residency and live locally to the area.
* Have knowledge of the role being advertised.
