Job Description:
Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers, as well as specialty fertilizers and soil conditioning products. The company also offers animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. Part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D is based at the Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We pride ourselves on delivering superior technical advice and quality products to farmers. We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region. The successful candidate will develop long-term customer relationships, connect with industry stakeholders, and report to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager.
* Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to maximize sales and customer service.
* Enhance technical presentation of products to meet regional needs.
* Optimize distribution, operations, and costs.
* Manage relationships with trade customers, including product support, service, credit control, and debtor management.
* Oversee sales administration policies and procedures.
* Manage and support the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
* Motivate and support the sales team to optimize sales and service.
* Promote company policies on HR, health and safety, sales pricing, and terms.
* Participate actively in company development and operational teams.
Requirements:
* Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative with consistent target achievement.
* Technical knowledge of the agriculture sector.
* Strong commercial skills and relationship management at trade and farmer levels.
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving attitude and team orientation.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Valid driver's license.
