As a Bank Community Support Worker, you’ll work directly with children and young people in their local communities—helping them build independence, confidence, and a positive future. You’ll play a key role in offering personalised, practical, and emotional support during times when young people need it most. This flexible, community-based role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference while working on a bank basis. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to children and young people in their homes and communities Encourage healthy routines, independence, and decision-making Support with daily living tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, and budgeting Help young people stay connected with family, friends, and their wider community Promote safety, wellbeing, and positive life choices Respond flexibly to changing needs and be confident working alone when required Maintain clear records and contribute to support planning in adherence with existing procedure and systems Participate in sleep-ins or waking nights if required Pick up additional shifts covering our residential and 16 supported living services. Respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns, or anything which could put the health, safety or wellbeing of young people or staff at risk.
