Overview
The Lead Electrical Engineer will oversee and manage electrical operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with industry standards. This role in Radcliffe requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in electrical systems and maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Oversee maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
* Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and resolve technical issues.
* Analyse and troubleshoot electrical faults, providing swift resolutions.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical works, maintenance, and inspections.
* Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skill levels.
Profile
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems within industrial and manufacturing environments.
* A Time served Electrical Apprenticeship
* Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
* Wiring regulations (16th, 17th or 18th)
* Experience of PLC Fault Finding
* Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication and organisational abilities.
