Nights available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable charity trust providing high-quality supported living services for adults with learning disabilities. We are currently looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a friendly and dedicated team in Cranbrook, Kent.
The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will help ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the individuals we support throughout the night. Duties include:
1. Carrying out routine night-time checks
2. Providing assistance with personal care when required
3. Cleaning and general housekeeping tasks
4. Some food and vegetable preparation for the following day
5. Responding calmly and appropriately to any night-time needs or situations
This is an active night role, not a sleep-in position.
About You
6. Caring, reliable and able to work independently at night
7. Comfortable supporting adults with learning disabilities
8. A car driver is essential, as public transport is not available at these hours
