School Caretaker - Merseyside Full-time | Temp | ASAP Start £17-£18 per hour (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting for a School Caretaker to work in schools across Merseyside on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dependable caretaker or site supervisor looking for a long-term role within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Opening and securing school premises, including alarm systems Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks Ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained Completing routine health and safety checks Managing contractors and reporting maintenance issues Grounds maintenance and general site upkeep Supporting with room set-ups for school events and activities The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities experience Good practical and maintenance skills A strong understanding of health and safety The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload A reliable, flexible, and proactive approach An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What's on Offer: Competitive pay of £17-£18 per hour, depending on experience Full-time hours with the potential for a permanent role Immediate starts available Opportunities to work in supportive school environments across Merseyside APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
