Role Description:
: to work as part of the MSSS SEP 1 and 2 site based CE and I design team.
: providing site:based design front line support to the Commissioning teams,
: delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes to meet functional and business needs.
The implementation, testing and commissioning of the detailed designs/changes is undertaken by other dedicated site:based teams, hence is outside the scope of this role.
Essential:
Academic Qualification: Minimum : HND
Professional Qualification: Minimum : Incorporated Engineer
Security Clearance: SC
Hours: 37 hours over 4 and frac12; days a week
Location: Working 3 days a week minimum on the MSSS site.
When not required on site, to work 3 days week minimum out of our design office.
To attend main site. 1 day per month.
Experience: Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE and I Senior Design Engineer:
: working on external multidiscipline projects,
: providing site:based front line design support to a Commissioning team,
: delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes,
: with a working understanding of the following external Standards for:
: PES based Control Systems
: Process Instruments
Effective problem solving, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
Willingness to support early career Engineers
Desirable:
Experience: Minimum 7 years successfully delivering as a CE and I Senior Design Engineer:
: working on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects,
: providing site:based front line design support to a Commissioning team,
: delivering, supporting the delivery of others and checking detailed designs/changes,
: with a working understanding of the following SL Engineering Standards for:
: PES based Control Systems
: Process Instruments
