As a Recovery Homes Manager you will support this ethos and work with our residents to support them to achieve their goals and make a positive transition into independent and abstinent life, recognising that individual journeys are different and each individual will require something different.
Working in partnership with the resident, community lead and external organisations you will support residents to integrate into the wider community, build resilience and healthy coping methods, and support with ad hoc requirements such as developing an awareness around nutrition, personal care, debt management and house management.
In addition you will be responsible for all aspects of house management including risk assessments, void management and maintenance, while supporting client integration into the community.
To be the successful candidate you will have experience of working within a social housing environment and managing property as well as working with a variety of agencies.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to influence and engage with individuals in abstinent recovery to establish clear goals to shape their individual support plan and outcomes to enable them to successfully achieve goals and develop practical skills in preparation for independent living.
The role requires you to be extremely organised, conscientious and confident with a well organised approach to work load to effectively manage a caseload to meet the needs of customers, contractual requirements and targets.
This role requires a degree level/professional qualification or evidence to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for the role.
Any offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as a CRB check).
