Role Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Operative to join our team within Vistry North East, at our Summerville North site (TS19 8TD). As our Site Operative, you will support construction activities by performing manual labour tasks on-site. This includes carrying materials, assisting subcontractors, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and ensuring safety and compliance with site regulations. Responsibilities
* Tidy and prepare the site, disposing of debris and waste properly.
* Follow safety procedures and report violations to Site Management.
* Maintain a clean, safe site by properly storing materials and securing tools/equipment.
* Report incidents and assist with site safety in line with group standards.
* Erect and maintain safety signage and secure hazards at the end of the day.
* Assist with loading/unloading and storing materials safely, minimizing loss or damage.
* Check and receive material deliveries according to site requirements.
* Maintain site tidiness and organization, ensuring compliance with housekeeping policies.
* Assist with snagging and cleaning plots.
* Secure building areas and report any security concerns to the Site Manager.
* Open and close the site daily.

* Experience as a Labourer or trades person
* Able to demonstrate genuine interest in working in the construction industry
* Resourceful and capable of using own initiative
* Excellent time keeping and attendance record
* Able to work effectively and safely under pressure
* Able to always represent the Company professionally
* Attention to detail
* Able to multitask
* Customer focused
* Willing to travel to other sites on a regular basis
* Able and willing to attend site out of hours to deal with emergency situations
Desirable
* Full UK Driving License
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
* One or more of the following trades:
o Carpentry
o Bricklaying
o Dry lining
o Plastering
o Painting & Decorating
