Job Description:
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for leading engineering activities and driving improvements across manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of engineers and technicians.
• Driving a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Designing and optimising manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Managing capital expenditure projects from concept through installation and validation.
• Ensuring compliance with quality systems, ISO standards and health & safety requirements.
• Collaborating with production, quality and supply chain teams to support product introduction and volume manufacture.
• Monitoring and reporting performance metrics, identifying trends and improvement actions.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will act as a technical authority, combining strategic thinking with hands-on engineering support.
Skills & Experience:
To be successful as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will ideally demonstrate:
• Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience delivering capital projects and process improvements.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical ability with a results-driven mindset.
