The Payments Product Manager is responsible for defining, delivering, and continuously improving the global payments product capabilities that underpin how customers pay for travel and how suppliers are paid across our technology ecosystem.
This role owns, but is not limited to, the product lifecycle for customer payment models (credit accounts, monthly billing, individual traveller cards, lodge cards), enriched card data, and supplier payment methods where the business operates as merchant (including account settlement, BSP, and card-based payments with commercial rebate models). Working closely with Finance, Technology, Account Management, Commercial, and external payment providers, the role ensures payments are scalable, secure, compliant, highly automated, and aligned to customer needs, financial controls, and commercial objectives.

The Role
Define & lead the global payments product roadmap across customer receivables and supplier payables.
Standardise and optimise payment models while meeting regional regulatory and commercial requirements.
Enhance customer payment capabilities, including integration across booking, invoicing, expense, and reporting systems.
Develop supplier payment solutions that improve automation, reduce cost, enhance auditability, and maximise rebate and cash‑flow benefits.
Lead delivery from discovery to launch, producing clear product requirements and partnering closely with engineering and vendor teams.
Ensure strong integrations with booking, mid‑/back‑office and expense systems, driving automation and reducing exceptions.
Act as the key liaison for payment providers, card networks, gateways, and internal Finance and Tech stakeholders.
Support internal teams (Finance, Sales, Account Management, Onboarding) by providing clear product definitions and expertise.
Oversee governance, risk & compliance to ensure products meet regulatory, audit, and security standards globally.
Use data and KPIs to evaluate performance and prioritise enhancements that deliver real customer and business value.
About you
Proven experience in payments product management, ideally within a corporate TMC, travel, payments or fintech environment
Strong understanding of corporate travel payment models: credit accounts, lodge cards, traveller cards, BSP, merchant settlement, expense flows
Experience delivering enterprise‑scale payment platforms or payment products
Strong background working with payment providers, gateways, card networks, and finance systems
Confident working in Agile/Scrum product environments
Excellent stakeholder management skills: able to partner with Finance, Technology, Commercial, Sales, and external vendors
Exceptional communication, prioritisation, and problem‑solving skills
Highly self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working across complex regulatory and compliance requirements
