Sourcing, negotiating, and procurement (including expediting) of goods and services to ensure project requirements are met, considering price, quality, and delivery. These activities will be undertaken alongside the development and maintenance of project Bills-of-Materials, tooling requirements, and associated 3rd party services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
2. Support operations and other relevant departments, communicating supply issues impacting the project.
3. Work with Programme & Production Managers to ensure timely supply of goods, expediting deliveries as needed.
4. Analyze costs and review cost reduction activities.
5. Prepare reports and updates as required.
6. Research new components and suppliers, preparing supplier nominations considering project constraints.
7. Negotiate contracts, improve prices, and review opportunities for project savings using best practices.
8. Analyze stock levels to determine appropriate order schedules.
9. Prepare and raise purchase orders and schedules to meet customer demand.
10. Build and maintain supplier relationships with good communication.
11. Ensure professional and consistent supplier relationship management.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies during negotiations and contracts.
13. Resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.
14. Support adherence to policies related to the quality management system (IATF 16949).
15. Maintain safety knowledge to ensure safe work practices.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
* At least 1 year of procurement experience; motorsport experience preferred.
* Minimum college education.
* Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, and cost analysis.
* Proficient in computer use, especially Excel.
Work Environment
Office setting; 10% travel to various locations. Exposure to machinery, noise, airborne particles, fumes, and temperature variations in production areas.
