Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. You will be a qualified practitioner with at least 2 years of nursery experience and may be looking to take on more responsibility. SEND experience, or a willingness to train to be the nursery SENDco is desirable. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their development and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage activities effectively.
Duties
* Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Supervise and support children in their daily routines, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and collaboration.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Assess children's progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
* Collaborate with team members to plan events, outings, and special activities that enhance the children's learning experience.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
* Previous experience, ideally 2 years+ working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A min Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
