Job title: Assistant Garment Technologist

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Assisting with garment fittings by measuring samples, taking fit notes, and taking photos.
* Approving production samples under the guidance of the Technologist
* Maintain and update measurement charts, tech packs, and technical workbooks
* Track, organise, and manage the flow of samples from suppliers to the technical team.
* Assist with quality control checks and communicate non-compliance issues to suppliers.
* Assist with the approval of test reports, assist with recommending and approving all wash-care instructions
* Supporting Senior and Junior Garment Technologists with day-to-day technical admin tasks with regular visits to the Warehouse, to identify quality issues and manufacturing faults
* Aiding with setting up technical supplier manuals
* Assisting with the maintenance of the master block library.
* Carrying out regular store visits to analyse the stock on the shop floor, report back any issues or high return faults.
* Accompany the technologist to visit suppliers in the UK to aid any technical assistance needed.
* Dealing with email queries
* Building a strong relationship with key suppliers

* Communicates clearly and confidently with teams and suppliers.
* Proactive, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Has strong computer skills and enjoys working with systems and data.
* Is passionate about product and eager to build a career in garment technology.
* Is available to work from our Essex office 4 days per week
