Siam Surgery is looking to recruit an advanced nurse practitioner or nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary general practice team. This position is offered on a full-time basis (preferred), but hours can be negotiable for the right applicant. Working within a supportive team which includes five ANP/NPs, your role will involve: Face-to-face and telephone consultations Home visits Collaborating closely with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to provide high-quality patient care This is an exciting opportunity to practice at an advanced level, managing complex cases, providing holistic care, and making a real impact on the health and wellbeing of our patient population. About the Candidate To be considered for this position, you will have the following; Essential: NMC registered MSc/Degree in Advanced Nursing or RCN accreditation of Masters level study Independent prescribing qualification Knowledge/skills: Advanced clinical assessment and examination skills Management of patients with long-term health conditions Management of patients with complex physical/psychological/social needs Management of palliative and end of life patients Recent Nurse Practitioner experience in general practice Nurse-led management of minor illness, minor ailments and injuries Experience of SystmOne and ARDENS is desirable but not essential Reliable and adaptable Forward-thinking Passionate about patient care Highly motivated About Us Siam Surgery is a semi-rural GMS practice which provides a high level of care to approximately 13,000 patients in Sudbury, Suffolk and its surrounding villages.
