Transform Lives Through Creative Activities Join our wellbeing team and create meaningful moments that bring joy, purpose and connection to residents' daily lives. You'll design innovative activity programmes that help older people achieve extraordinary things. We have a 25 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £13.00. Shift times are 1000-1500 or 1100-1600, with alternate weekend working but we do require some flexibility in terms of hours worked to meet the needs of the business. What you'll be doing Create weekly activity programmes that stimulate physical, mental and emotional wellbeing Deliver innovative programmes so residents can achieve extraordinary things with their capabilities Motivate staff to incorporate wellbeing activities into their roles Get to know each resident's life story and contribute to their wellbeing plans Ensure risk assessments are in place for all activities Understand the needs of people with various conditions Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with Skills and experience required Experience of working with older people is essential Experience of delivering an activity programme is essential Evidence of the ability to assess, plan and evaluate the activity needs of older people is essential The ability to work individually and in a team is essential Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively Be creative, imaginative and enthusiastic and have the ability to forward plan The Benefits Opportunities to progress through our career paths into more senior and management roles 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum Paid DBS and uniform provided Paid training and excellent induction programme Ongoing support for nationally recognised qualifications Cycle to work scheme and wellbeing programmes Recognition awards – employee of the month and golden tickets Travel plan – walk or ride a bike and get a free meal that day Pension scheme and EarlyPay access to your money as you earn About Lovett Care At Lovett, we believe our elders deserve more.
