Accurately estimating vehicle damage on a wide range of makes and models, assessing repair requirements
Using Audatex estimating software to prepare electronic and manual repair estimates
Ensuring compliance with Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards when identifying repair procedures
Communicating effectively with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisations and ensuring cost accuracy
Explaining repair methodologies clearly to technicians and customers for transparency
Maintaining precise records of estimates, repair processes, and customer interactions as a Vehicle Damage Assessor
Supporting multiple sites across the South West to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
Staying current with industry repair standards and safety regulationsRequirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator, ideally within a bodyshop environment
Proficiency in Audatex estimating software
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or ATA / IMI qualification preferred
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repairs, diagnostics, and safety standards
Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
Good organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to support multiple sites across the South West region
