We are seeking a skilled Data Science Manager to lead our Cybersecurity Threat Analyst team at KnowBe4, based in Cheltenham, UK. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, developing threat detection solutions, and staying ahead of emerging security threats.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage security analysts, data scientists, and engineers
2. Develop code-based security solutions
3. Design automated threat detection systems
4. Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to security data
5. Maintain threat intelligence platforms
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture
7. Stay updated on evolving threat landscapes
8. Act as a hiring manager when needed
9. Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, plus 5+ years of experience
2. Master's degree in related field, plus 4+ years of experience
3. Proven coding experience in Python, C#, or similar languages
4. Strong background in machine learning and data science applications for security
5. Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling
6. Leadership experience in managing technical teams and security projects
