Behaviour Mentors – Oldham:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Prospero Teaching are seeking dedicated behaviour mentors to join a large provision in the Oldham area.
As a behaviour mentor you will be:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support to students exhibiting challenging behaviours
2. Engaging in a variety of activities to encourage engagement in learning
3. Providing both academic and emotional support to pupils who have been temporarily removed from mainstream education
Position Details:
4. Location: Oldham
5. Position: Behaviour Mentor
6. Type of Work: Temporary
7. Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
8. Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
9. Start date: ASAP
10. End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
11. Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
12. Any youth work, sports coaching or care work experience is perfect for this role
13. Confidence and ability to use initiative
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional references
