Senior Buyer – SDA
London (Hybrid working available)
£60,000 - £70.000 DOE
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Buyer to join an established UK retailer based within their Head Office function in South West London.
A well established retailer within the home & lifestyle sector is looking for a commercial and forward-thinking Senior Buyer to join their business to manage SDA which is a high profile and important category for the business.
As the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the range strategy to maximise the budgeted financial business targets ensuring the right products are purchased at the correct prices and within the relevant time frames. Reporting into the Head of Buying some of your duties will include.
1. Responsible for maximising the delivery of the Sales / Margin & Stock turn of your category range to deliver a market beating product and seasonal proposition.
2. Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
3. Sourcing suppliers & negotiating best cost prices to improve margins.
4. Responsible for buying both Own Brand and Branded ranges.
5. Ensuring selected product lines achieve availability timeframes.
