We are currently seeking for Primary Teacher who would like to work at an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school located in York, North Yorkshire starting in September 2025.
Teacher Requirements:
* Primary teaching experience, with at least 12 months of classroom teaching experience (placements can be counted).
* Qualified teacher with QTS (Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply).
* Has a secure understanding of the primary curriculum.
* The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management, lesson-planning, patience and empathy.
* Provide a safe and supportive environment where all pupils are encouraged to learn, progress, and have aspirations for the future.
* Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
Teacher Responsibilities:
* Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans to help students meet educational objectives.
* Delivers engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Assess students' progress and performance through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of their students.
* Provide extra support to struggling students and extend challenges to those who excel.
* Works effectively as part of a small team to raise standards and outcomes.
