About the role: At TSG UK, our projects typically focus on EV, E-Bus and E-Truck installations as well as HV and LV connections on behalf of our ICP business. In your role as CAD Designer, you will be producing design drawings to support our portfolio of projects, from indicatives layouts, to concept and detail designs as well as supporting project close out with as-built drawings. What you'll do: You will be responsible for driving the design process from concept to completion, producing high-quality drawing packs based on client specifications and project requirements. You'll support the Sales and Estimation teams with indicative and concept design drawings, while taking full ownership to ensure timely project delivery. Your work will include producing detailed CAD drawings, covering electrical, mechanical, and civils layouts, ensuring safety standards and compliance with UK Electrical Installation Regulations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate across our EV and Power (ICP) activities, perform site visits and surveys to document real-time changes helping to align design work with wider business goals. Attend training and courses as and when required, adding to your industry knowledge. About you: If you are someone who seeks continuous improvement, applies lessons learned, and introduces innovative solutions to enhance design efficiency and constructability, then the following skills and attributes will set you up for success in this role: AutoCAD 2D (2D is a minimum, 3D is a big plus!) Experience of EV, E-Bus, E-Truck or ICP designs - this is essential You will be confident enough to complete a design from start to sign off, this includes electrical, mechanical and civil elements within the drawing package. You will have a demonstrable knowledge of drawing standards, with a strong focus on Health and Safety An effective communicator who can remain calm under pressure and make decisions quickly when necessary Interested?
