Credit Controller Chelmsford General Responsibility Working within the Operations Department, providing support to the Client Management teams for proactive management of a portfolio of clients. To deliver exceptional Client service, maintain internal and Client relationships, and effectively identify any risks to prevent loss of income and reputation to our business. Responsibilities- Credit Control: • To deliver and maintain proactive and effective collections processes, whilst delivering excellent service to the Clients. • To ensure collection and follow-up calls are made within agreed timescales. • To ensure adequate levels of verification are maintained on the Client's Ledgers at all times. • To record and maintain up-to-date debtor contact details • To record and maintain the debtor diary and collection notes on the operating system. • To assist the data processing team by obtaining remittance advice and allocation details for expected debtor receipts. • To identify any sales ledger queries and work closely with the Client Management teams to ensure that Clients resolve disputes quickly and are aware of any difficult recovery situations that may require legal action. • Maintaining first-class Client relationships, ensuring that excellent levels of service are delivered so that the Client Satisfaction levels remain high. • To make recommendations on how the Credit Cont...
