The Role
We're hiring a Pharmacist Manager (IP) to lead one of our Edinburgh pharmacies. You'll run high-quality clinical services, manage and develop a talented team, and own day-to-day operations, KPIs, and regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the pharmacy's clinical and operational performance, ensuring outstanding patient experience.
* Run and grow Independent Prescribing clinics (Pharmacy First Plus, acute & long-term condition management, private services).
* Deliver and expand services: vaccinations, travel health, ear-care, weight-management, and NHS services.
* Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, SOPs, CD governance, audits, and patient safety.
* Coach, rota, and develop the team; drive engagement, training, and accountability.
* Manage KPIs: service growth, items, accuracy, OTC retail performance, and cost control.
* Collaborate with our central hub to maximise hub-and-spoke and PillPouch capabilities.
* Build local healthcare and community relationships to grow the pharmacy's profile.
What You'll Bring
* GPhC-registered Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber (or IP near completion).
* Proven community pharmacy leadership/management experience.
* Confident delivering Pharmacy First/Pharmacy First Plus and private clinical services.
* Strong clinical judgement, communication, and people-leadership skills.
* Organised, KPI-driven, and comfortable with digital systems and service booking tools.
* Right to work in the UK.
Desirable: Travel clinic experience, vaccinations, ear-care/tympanometry, care-home services, and hub-and-spoke familiarity.
