About the role: As a Profit Protection Specialist, you’ll play a key role in inventory management and loss prevention. You’ll coach our onboard cruise retail teams on company policies and procedures, with a specific focus on reducing losses and driving shelf availability. Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis – 2 days in office per week alongside regular national/international travel. What you will be doing: In this role, you will take ownership of developing and maintaining effective Ship Stock Loss Improvement Plans that deliver targeted stock loss reductions. You will conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders including Onboard Teams, Buyers, Area Managers and Account Directors to identify risks and drive accountability. Using stock count data, you will analyse trends, uncover root causes and translate insights into clear actions. You will provide feedback and guidance to retail management teams following onboard compliance audits, report audit performance to Retail Operations and lead investigations where necessary. Additionally, you will create detailed development plans to elevate onboard stock standards, support the opening of new onboard stores by embedding core operational practices and coordinate third-party stock counting partners to meet annual cyclical counting requirements. About you: Experience in a retail environment would be highly advantageous An understanding of Stock Management and Profit and Loss systems would be desirable, as would experience with third party stocktaking Confident in reviewing and interpreting data with the ability to spot trends Process driven with excellent attention to detail Strong communicator with a confident approach to driving results Competent using Microsoft Office Suite Can commit to regular national and international travel Full driving licence Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Key Attributes – trust, collaboration, respect, passion, drive, resilience About us: Harding is the only 100% dedicated cruise retailer, proudly partnering with 12 cruise line operators globally, across more than 80 cruise ships either in operation or under contract.
