We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 2 pupils who require additional support with SATs. This role involves assisting teachers in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
Responsibilities

Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students.

Provide individual support to students with disabilities, ensuring their participation in classroom activities.
*
Facilitate communication between students and teachers, promoting understanding and engagement.
*
Support students with their academic work, including tutoring and mentoring as needed.
*
Help maintain a safe and organised classroom environment that encourages learning.
*
Collaborate with other staff members to develop strategies for supporting students with special educational needs.
*
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to special education.
Experience
*
Previous experience working with children, particularly at KS2.
*
Familiarity with teaching methodologies and strategies for supporting students with autism is highly desirable.
*
Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
*
A background in tutoring or mentoring is advantageous.
