Service Manager
Location: Swindon
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 basic (DOE)
OTE: £55,000 – £65,000+
Benefits: Company car / car allowance + pension
The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established dealership in Swindon for an experienced and driven Service Manager. This is a key leadership role within the Aftersales department, responsible for workshop performance, customer satisfaction and overall profitability.
You will oversee the Service Advisors and Workshop team, ensuring maximum efficiency, strong CSI performance and effective cost control.
Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility for Service Department performance

Managing workshop efficiency and labour sales
*
Leading and developing Service Advisors and Workshop Controller
*
Monitoring KPIs including productivity, utilisation and WIP
*
Driving upsell opportunities and service plan penetration
*
Managing departmental budgets and profitability
*
Ensuring FCA compliance and manufacturer standards
*
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI)
About You
*
Previous experience as a Service Manager / Aftersales Manager
*
Strong leadership and team development skills
*
Proven track record of improving workshop efficiency and profitability
*
Commercially aware with strong financial understanding
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Full UK Driving Licence
