As a Trainee Occupational Health Technician, your duties may include:
* Support occupational health professionals in delivering workplace health assessments and medical examinations.
* Conduct various health screenings and health surveillance activities following training.
* Assist with workplace health monitoring programmes for clients across different industries.
* Travel to client locations to support occupational health services when required.
* Carry out health checks accurately and professionally while following company procedures.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to employee health assessments.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees during appointments and assessments.
* Represent D4 Medicals professionally when working at client sites and company locations.
* Follow health and safety regulations and maintain high professional standards.
* Participate in training programmes and professional development opportunities to enhance occupational health knowledge and skills.
Candidate Requirements
Required
* Degree qualification, preferably in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or related scientific or healthcare disciplines.
* Genuine interest in healthcare, employee wellbeing, and occupational health.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn new skills and undertake professional training.
* Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Ability to travel to client sites as part of the role.
Preferred
* Previous healthcare, clinical, laboratory, or customer service experience.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
* Experience interacting with patients, clients, or members of the public.
