Class 1 HGV Drivers - Multiple Roles Available (Eurocentral, Larkhall, Bellshill, Hamilton)
We are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers for ongoing work across several sites in Lanarkshire. These roles offer competitive pay, stable shifts, and the opportunity for long-term work with the potential to go permanent.
Eurocentral - Day & Back Shifts
* Start times: Days 04:00-08:00 / Backs 10:00-16:00
* Shift length: 10-12 hours
* Work: RDC drops and store deliveries (all back door/bay - 2 to 4 per shift), mix of local runs & distance work.
* Rates (PAYE): £16.15 Days / £18.80 Nights / £20.47 Weekends / £24.00 Overtime (plus paid breaks)
* Experience: Ideally 12 month's Class 1 experience. Newly qualified drivers considered following a full site assessment and induction.
Larkhall - Day & Night Shifts
* Day shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 start, average 10-12 hour shifts
* Rate (PAYE): £16.00 per hour
* Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, start times between 19:00-22:00, average 10-12 hours
* Rate (PAYE): £17.00-£19.00
* Work: Mix of collections and deliveries (2-4 per shift, light goods)
* Experience: Minimum 6 month's Class 1 experience preferred.
Bellshill - Night Shifts
* Start times: 19:00-23:00
* Work: RDC, trunking, changeovers, with occasional runs involving one self-tip
* Rates (PAYE): £18.30 Nights / £19.25 Saturdays / £20.24 Sundays
* Experience: Minimum 3-6 months' Class 1 experience. Ongoing work with shifts available all year round.
Hamilton - Tramping Role
* Monday start, tramping throughout the UK and finishing Friday (occasional Saturday finish)
* Ongoing placement with the potential to go permanent
* Ideally seeking drivers with tramping and walking floor experience (training on walking floor can be provided for the right person)
* Rates (PAYE): £16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) / £18.00 per hour (Saturday)
* Experience: Minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience required.
Requirements (all roles)
* Valid Class 1 licence
* Valid CPC and Digi card
* Maximum of 6 points on licence (no major endorsements)
